The impact would have occurred at 5:00 in the morning, when he was traveling along kilometer 40 of the New Mexico highway. <\/p>\n<aside class=\"htmlinline\"\/>\n<p>At the moment, the details of the mishap that took the life of the 69-year-old musician are still unknown, as well as the reasons that led to this tragic outcome. My old man did not arrive, I do not know if he had an attack, if he had a heart attack or fell asleep, but the car was destroyed, \u201dsaid his son, completely disconsolate.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2>Who was Lupe Tijerina Martinez?<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Lupe Tijerina Martinez <\/strong>He was a relative of one of the founders of <strong>The Linares Cadets<\/strong>a project of the regional musical genre created by Homero Guerrero De La Cerda and Lupe Fidencio Tijerina, and in which he was inspired to form his own group: <strong>The New Cadets of the Tijerina Cousins<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p>Tijerina Mart\u00ednez, who was born in Mexico in 1953, continued the family legacy after the death of her cousin <strong>Guadalupe Tijerina<\/strong>vocalist of the famous group that became popular in the 70&#8217;s and 80&#8217;s with hits like &#8216;There is no news&#8217;, &#8216;The two friends&#8217;, &#8216;The three graves&#8217; and &#8216;El Palomito&#8217;. <\/p>\n<p>Under a new name, Lupe took her music to various parts of Mexico and the United States, and even came to share the stage with renowned artists such as <strong>The Northern Tigers<\/strong>.\n<\/p>\n<p>The family thanked their fans for their support and affection, as well as friends and colleagues in the music industry.
