For this reason, the fact that all the films in the Bourne saga, one of the best in the history of cinema within this genre, have reached HBO Max seems<strong> a golden opportunity to (re)approach them.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 1 --><\/p>\n<p>Based on the books written by <strong>Robert Ludlum<\/strong>the franchise debuted in 2002 with &#8216;The Bourne Affair&#8217;, a very enjoyable mix between spy movies and thrillers in which <strong>Matt Damon<\/strong> he began to show that he could be a most competent action hero.  However, it was with &#8216;The Bourne Legend&#8217; that everything changed, since the arrival of <strong>Paul Greengrass<\/strong> behind the scenes gave the saga a different visual energy and that may not be to everyone&#8217;s taste.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 2 --> <\/p>\n<p>That is something that many others tried to replicate with little success, but Greengrass himself took it one step further in 2006 with &#8216;The Bourne Ultimatum&#8217;, a film that worked very well for the saga to remain in a trilogy.  In fact, he would not have been out of place in any list of the best trilogies in history, but in <strong>Universal<\/strong> they were clear that they could still continue squeezing it.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 3 --><\/p>\n<p>It was then that the Bourne saga lost some of its charm with &#8216;The Bourne Legacy&#8217;, which featured <strong>Jeremy Renner<\/strong> as a great protagonist <strong>Tony Gilroy<\/strong> Behind the cameras.  With a somewhat more conventional approach and a rather disappointing final stretch, it is also true that until then it was a more than worthy action pastime.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 4 --><\/p>\n<div class=\"article-asset article-asset-normal article-asset-center\">\n<div class=\"desvio-container\">\n<div class=\"desvio\">\n<div class=\"desvio-figure js-desvio-figure\">\n<p>     <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>As &#8216;The Bourne Legacy&#8217; did not live up to expectations, for the next installment <strong>got both Damon and Greengrass back<\/strong>, but &#8216;Jason Bourne&#8217; left a bittersweet taste.  On the one hand, it was a competent film that honored the legacy of both the saga and the main character, but on the other hand, it was much less groundbreaking and there could even be a slight feeling of reluctance.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 5 --><\/p>\n<p><strong>In Espinof<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Action movies many continue to be made every year, the ones that are scarce are the really good ones, but that is something that can be said to have always happened.
