At the end of the 1980s and beginning of the 1990s, a group so transgressive and some vibes<\/em> party that no one has been able to forget. They were Locom\u00eda (which could also be written separately) and theirs is a story of success, betrayal, jealousy, homophobia and oblivion. oh! And electropop, a lot of electropop seasoned with choreographies that had huge fans as protagonists.<\/p>\n

\u201cDisco, Ibiza, Locomoy. Fashion, Ibiza, Locomoy. Loco, Ibiza, Locomia\u201d<\/strong>its great hit<\/em> I had no loss. Their handwriting pointed to the only thing that needed to be known: what their names were and that they were here for the party. The lyrics were not precisely the strength of his proposal. The band was created in 1983 as a group of fashion designers made up of Xavier Font, Manuel Arjona<\/strong>, louis font<\/strong> Y Gard Passchier<\/strong>. These last two would abandon and would be replaced later by Carlos Armas and Juan Antonio Fuentes. <\/strong>He would also end up leaving the Xavier group and enter in his place Francis Picas.<\/strong><\/p>\n

First they dazzled in the Ibizan night and, when the manager Jos\u00e9 Luis Gil discovers them and promises them success, they will have to assume an ambiguous sexual identity<\/strong> in a Spain in which homosexuality was not well seen. However, the promise was real and things went very well for Locom\u00eda, hitting him not only in our country but also in Latin America.<\/p>\n

Two albums and hits like Rumba Samba Mambo<\/em>, crazy mine<\/em>, Crazy Vox<\/em>, Gorbachev<\/em> Y Little girl <\/em>led them to tour with great success in Latin America but, when they were at the top, the group ended its musical career due to differences with its manager <\/strong>and not because the public got tired of them.<\/p>\n
