Unfortunately, due to her accident, Anne Heche suffered a severe anoxic brain injury and remains in a coma, in critical condition. Anne had a big heart and touched everyone she met with her generous spirit. Fifty-nine firefighters battled the flames, which had engulfed both Heche&#8217;s car and her home, for 65 minutes before they were able to pull her out of the rubble.  According to reports, Heche was able to communicate at the time of her rescue, but <strong>he lost consciousness soon after and never regained it.  He has been in a coma ever since<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 2 --> <\/p>\n<p>His condition was already extremely critical, with significant lung injury requiring mechanical ventilation and burns requiring surgical intervention.  There was much speculation about Heche&#8217;s condition before the accident, as <strong>was filmed driving erratically and speeding in the minutes before the accident<\/strong>, including another minor car accident, a few blocks from the crash site.  A blood test was performed upon arrival at the hospital. Amy Winter, Executive Vice President and Chief Programming Officer of Lifetime Networks, <strong>said the film was still scheduled to be released in September as planned<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 3 --><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThis project is important to Anne, along with each and every one of us,\u201d said Winter.  We all wanted to make a film that would bring attention to this terrible problem of human sex trafficking.
