Following an anonymous tip, the Brazilian military police managed to rescue a woman and her two children, ages 17 and 22, from the clutches of their own father, who had held them hostage for 17 years.<\/p>\n

The victims were found tied up, dirty and malnourished in a room of their own house, located in Guaratiba, Rio de Janeiro.<\/p>\n

Once rescued, the woman told the authorities that they had not seen the light of day for 17 years, that they could only eat with authorization and constantly received blows and insults from her husband, Luiz Antonio Santos Silva, with whom she had been for 23 years. years.<\/p>\n
