What would be a success, since the saga has been declining over the years.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prey<\/strong> tells the story of a young woman named <strong>Naruto<\/strong> .  She is a fierce and highly skilled warrior who has grown up in the shadow of some of the most legendary hunters that roam the Great Plains.  So when danger threatens her camp, she sets out to protect the people from it.  The prey she stalks and ultimately faces turns out to be a <strong>predator<\/strong> highly evolved with a technically advanced arsenal.  Which results in a cruel and terrifying confrontation between the two adversaries.<\/p>\n<p>Directed by <strong>Dan Trachtenberg<\/strong> (10 Cloverfield Lane), in the cast stand out <strong>Amber Midthunder, Dane DiLiegro, Harlan Blayne Kytwayhat, Geronimo Vela <\/strong>Y<strong> dakota beavers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>First reactions:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Prey is the best Predator movie so far.  Amber Midthunder is an absolute scene-stealing star, and Dan Trachtenberg delivers a visceral movie and you&#8217;ll be on the edge of your seat the entire time.  But it also serves as a fascinating glimpse into the Comanche Nation.<\/li>\n<li>It takes forever to get going, but damn, the second half is a blast!  Amber Midthunderes is amazing as Naru, she has an amazing bow and the Predator is a beast.  Violent as hell and bloody brutal.  I really enjoyed it.<\/li>\n<li>It&#8217;s fucking fantastic.  Amber Midthunder is amazing, and you don&#8217;t have to be a Predator fan to enjoy it.  The joy here is seeing very smart opponents take on each other, and it&#8217;s incredibly exciting.  Dan Trachtenberg knows what he&#8217;s doing.<\/li>\n<li>Prey is such a dignified and badass Predator movie on par with the original.  Beautifully shot, well written, great characters, and some of the grossest and most entertaining sci-fi action in the franchise.  It&#8217;s exciting, fun, powerful and I can&#8217;t wait to see it again.<\/li>\n<li>By setting it 300 years ago and removing the alien hunter&#8217;s high-tech hunting gadgets, we get a primeval David vs. Goliath story.  Amber Midthunder is fierce and Datoka Beavers rocks in her debut!  It&#8217;s just an amazing B movie.<\/li>\n<li>I honestly think Prey might be the best Predator movie.  Not from the first movie, just the best, period.  It&#8217;s got all the tense action but adds compelling characters, Amber Midthunder as Naru is a revelation, it&#8217;s Predator broken down into its core elements and pieced together better.<\/li>\n<li>Dan Trachtenberg has created a clever reimagining of the franchise and a poignant and beautifully photographed coming-of-age story, complete with buckets of blood and super-fun monster mayhem.  He expected to enjoy it but I ended up loving it.<\/li>\n<li>All praise to Amber Midthunder, who owns the screen against her alien foe.
