New information about ‘Rebel Moon’ is being revealed, the new thing that Zack Snyder is preparing for Netflix<\/strong>. After ‘The Army of the Dead’, Snyder embarks on the direction of another project next to the platform, which has recently been joined by another star.<\/p>\n

New incorporation<\/h2>\n

It has been made public that actor Anthony Hopkins, winner of two Oscars (for ‘The Silence of the Lambs’ and ‘The Father’), will be another of the familiar faces that we can see in ‘Rebel Moon’<\/strong>. Hopkins will voice Jimmy, a battle robot<\/strong> very smart. Snyder’s science fiction film joins the actor’s list of pending projects to be released, along with James Gray’s ‘Armageddon Time’ or Florian Zeller’s ‘The Son’.<\/p>\n

Hopkins joins the other names confirmed for the film: sofia boutella<\/strong> (‘Kingsman’), charlie hunnam<\/strong> (‘Pacific Rim’), Djimon Hounsou<\/strong> (‘Aquaman’), Doona Bae<\/strong> (‘Sense8’), Corey Stoll<\/strong> (‘The Strain’), Jenna Malone<\/strong> (‘Donnie Darko’), ed skrein<\/strong> (‘Deadpool’) and Cary Elwes<\/strong> (‘Saw’), among others.<\/p>\n

‘Rebel Moon’ will tell the story of a space colony threatened by the army of the dictator Balisarius<\/strong>. Kora, the protagonist and inhabitant of the colony, will escape in search of warriors to help her face the invasion.<\/p>\n

The project is part of the partnership between Netflix and The Stone Quarry Productions, the production company of Zack Snyder, Deborah Snyder and Wesley Coller, and will feature Snyder’s own script<\/strong>, Shay Hatten<\/strong> (‘John Wick: Parabellum’) and Kurt Johnstad<\/strong> (‘300’).<\/p>\n
