Thanks to the video, we verify that Gorr seeks the end of the gods. In the scene where the villain plunges his All-Black necrosword into a small planet, he utters the new line: “The world will be better off without gods.”

Also, there is a slight change in another line in the second trailer when he says “You’re not like the others” instead of “You’re not like the other gods I’ve killed.”

In the original story of the comics written by Jason Aaron, Gorr’s home planet was poor and was entirely dedicated to serving the Gods, but after losing his relatives one by one without being heard and helped by the gods, and after Finding the Necrosword, with which he merged and gained power, he decided to dedicate his life to ending all gods.

After listening to Gorr’s new dialogue and with the background of the comics, we can affirm that, despite the great secrecy with which everything related to this character in Thor: Love and Thunder has been kept, that the mission of the villain of Christian Bale will be very close to the original from the pages of Marvel Comics.
