There’s a rumor that actor Jensen Ackles even auditioned to play Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and now we know the truth.<\/h2>\n

Jensen Ackles<\/strong> He is world famous for playing Dean Winchester<\/strong> in Supernatural<\/strong> (2005 \u2013 2020), so when they were preparing the first film of Captain America<\/strong>, the fans wanted him to be the chosen one. But since we already know the role he played it Chris Evans<\/strong> in a brilliant way.<\/p>\n

Now, the actor wanted to reveal if he got to participate in the audition for the great hero of Marvel<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

Did I audition for Captain America? No, I did not do it”. Jensen Ackles confirmed during an interview. \u201cI don’t know necessarily\u2026 Was it something like an audition? I feel like they just got together with people for that.”<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cAnyway, it was not available. So I don’t think they would fit into my schedule. Doesn’t seem like a property type that would do that. I would have loved to have been in the mix because Chris Evans and I used to pretty much clash on a lot of different things in the past. But unfortunately I didn’t, I didn’t fight him on it.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Now he will play a similar character.<\/h3>\n

Jensen Ackles<\/strong> has already left the series Supernatural<\/strong> and will be in the third season of TheBoys<\/strong>where he will play Soldier Boy<\/strong>. And the actor himself reveals the similarities and differences with the Marvel character and leader of the Avengers:<\/p>\n

“It’s Captain America on his butt. It’s like Captain America giving up the superhero and just being your inappropriate, drunken uncle.”<\/em><\/p>\n

So it will be quite interesting to see what he has prepared for us Jensen Ackles<\/strong> What Soldier Boy<\/strong>since in the comics in which the series is inspired, he is a rather peculiar character.<\/p>\n
