My colleague Pedro already told you about the case of one of Will Smith&#8217;s most legendary films and today it&#8217;s time to make a stop at <strong>the highest grossing zombie movie in history<\/strong>.  I mean &#8216;World War Z&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 1 --><\/p>\n<h2>A blockbuster with the walking dead<\/h2>\n<p>With a worldwide collection of 540 million dollars, this free adaptation of the book of <strong>Max Brooks<\/strong> It had so many problems during filming that its budget skyrocketed &#8211; it went from 125 million dollars to 190, although there are even those who raise that amount even higher &#8211; and many already anticipated a certain failure.  It was not the case, surely in part because of the hook of having Brad Pitt at the forefront of the cast.  To the point that a sequel was years in development and almost involves his reunion with the great <strong>David Fincher<\/strong>but it seems that the thing finally came to nothing.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 2 --> <\/p>\n<div class=\"article-asset article-asset-normal article-asset-center\">\n<div class=\"desvio-container\">\n<div class=\"desvio\">\n<div class=\"desvio-figure js-desvio-figure\">\n<p>     <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Once seen, it shows that they had to correct many things on the fly, but that does not mean that it is <strong>a vertiginous and impressive proposal<\/strong> that at all times he is clear about the importance of not stopping and that everything continues forward.  No matter how absurd some plot solutions may be or that the characters are barely developed, what matters here is turning &#8216;World War Z&#8217; into a kind of blockbuster that uses the infected as an impossible threat to contain.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 3 --><\/p>\n<p>The main consequence of all this is that &#8216;World War Z&#8217; is a solvent hobby as long as you are clear that what matters here is the direct hit and seeing how Pitt manages to get ahead of increasingly difficult situations.  For his part, the director <strong>Marc Forster<\/strong> It does something to elevate some situations, but it shows that it should not have had much freedom in this cocktail of terror and science fiction.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 4 --><\/p>\n<p>Now you have until May 31 to see it on Netflix, and watch out, because <strong>not available on any other streaming platform<\/strong>.
