Since its premiere in 2016, the series full of eighties winks has been one of Netflix&#8217;s flagship projects, turning its cast into stars, especially Millie Bobby Brown. <\/p>\n<p>Since the beginning of the series, a series of rules have been established for the set, some of them really surprising.<!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>No makeup<\/h2>\n<div class=\"article-asset-image article-asset-normal\">\n<div class=\"asset-content\">\n<div class=\"base-wrapper-image\" style=\"padding-top:50%;\">\n                 <br \/>\n  <noscript><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Millie Bobby BrownEleven\" class=\"centro_sinmarco\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/i.blogs.es\/d5c1cb\/millie-bobby-brown-eleven\/450_1000.jpg?w=788&#038;ssl=1\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\"\/><\/noscript><\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>One of the requirements for the acting team is <strong>arrive on set with a clean face<\/strong>without any makeup. This rule goes specifically for Joe Keery, the actor who plays Steve.  The creators of Stranger Things, the Duffer brothers, dubbed the character <strong>Steve &#8220;The Hair&#8221; Harrington<\/strong> and has become one of its most iconic elements. From the beginning, the Duffer brothers were very insistent that it was <strong>recreate another era<\/strong>in which <strong>the canon of beauty was much more &#8220;soft&#8221;<\/strong> that nowadays.  Therefore, they have taken special care that <strong>the actors do not display an excessively slim or muscular build<\/strong> but more natural.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 3 --><\/p>\n<p>The best example of this is Dacre Montgomery (Billy in the series), who came from doing the latest version of &#8216;Power Rangers&#8217;, a role for which he had to lose weight. Being a series as intense as Stranger Things, it is understandable that <strong>the actors must adapt to the agendas set by the same<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 4 --><\/p>\n<p>This was almost a problem for Finn Wolfhard (Mike), who signed earlier for &#8216;It&#8217; and <strong>almost left out of &#8216;Stranger Things&#8217; since both filming coincided<\/strong>.
