This was reported by the agency that represents the player through a statement: &#8220;Sergio Rico traveled to El Roc\u00edo, with permission from the club. After just over an hour and a half with his family and friends, <strong>He was going to the Pontifical mass next to the hermitage when he suffered a misfortune because of a cart with mules and a runaway horse that hit him<\/strong>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 1 --><\/p>\n<div class=\"article-asset article-asset-normal article-asset-center\">\n<div class=\"desvio-container\">\n<div class=\"desvio\">\n<div class=\"desvio-figure js-desvio-figure\">\n<p>     <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>On the other hand, the patient&#8217;s family, also through their representation agency, pleaded for prudence in light of the medical results: &#8220;Sergio is in good hands, fighting to recover while receiving the best care. <strong>We must act prudently, especially in the next 48 hours.  We are awaiting results on his medical evolution<\/strong>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 2 --> <\/p>\n<p>Now, it has been his wife, Alba Silva, who has shared a tender message from her Instagram account.  With a photo of her wedding with the soccer player, which took place in June 2022, the journalist sends all her love and support to her partner: &#8220;<strong>Don&#8217;t leave me alone my love because I swear I can&#8217;t, nor do I know how to live without you<\/strong>.  We are waiting for you my life, we love you so much, &#8220;she writes.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 3 --><\/p>\n<p>Also, Silva has shared several <em>stories <\/em>on the same social network expressing her gratitude for the barrage of messages she has received accompanying her in Rico&#8217;s tragic mishap: &#8220;Thank you for all your love for us.
