In fact, about &#8216;The Fireman&#8217; he already commented all this at the time:<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 4 --><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The protagonist was in the Vietnam War and became a policeman.  And then he starts to see a whole bunch of bad apple cops who are killing these guys and they&#8217;re completely corrupt, and they end up killing his partner, played by a very young Samuel L.
