A rock-paper-scissors tournament will put the 18-meter robot to the test"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>If you go to Japan and you&#8217;re a &#8216;Gundam&#8217; fan, obviously what you can&#8217;t miss is the life-size replica of the<strong> RX-78-2 Gundam<\/strong> which can be seen in Yokohama.  But best of all, it&#8217;s not just a statue that&#8217;s standing there looking impressive, it&#8217;s also moving and even learning some tricks to leave us speechless.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 1 --><\/p>\n<p>The last feat has been learning to do the necessary movements to play rock-paper-scissors&#8230; so you&#8217;re ready to put it to the test.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 2 --> <\/p>\n<div class=\"article-asset article-asset-normal article-asset-center\">\n<div class=\"desvio-container\">\n<div class=\"desvio\">\n<div class=\"desvio-figure js-desvio-figure\">\n<p>     <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Rock, paper, scissors, (lizard, Spock&#8230;)!<\/h2>\n<p>He <strong>Gundam of Yokohama <\/strong>He stands an impressive 18 meters tall and has been slowly learning new techniques and movements.  Now we have to see how it performs in a real challenge, and the Gundam Factory Yokohama has organized a rock-paper-scissors tournament.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 3 --><\/p>\n<p>The tournament will be held on May 5 and <strong>will face the Gundam against the entire public that attends<\/strong>.  And if we manage to beat him, there is also a prize: those who are victorious against the giant will be able to access a reserved area that is normally closed to the public and take a souvenir photo.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 4 --><\/p>\n<p>The Yokohama Gundam was unveiled in December 2020 and in addition to playing rock-paper-scissors it can also light up its eyes and some of its ducts, and it runs on renewable energy.
