‘Benzema and Vinicius at the top’

“They will be at their best for Tuesday,” Ancelotti warned after the match against Cádiz, which augurs that Vinicius will once again lead the attack with captain Karim Benzema.

The Brazilian was a real nightmare for the ‘Blues’ defense in the first leg with his runs down the wing until he was named man of the match.

Vinicius “is one of the best and it’s almost impossible to stop him because he doesn’t stop running,” his teammate Militao said at a press conference on Monday. Along with ‘Vini’, Benzema, who scored in the first leg against Chelsea, seems to have recovered his best image in the area after showing off against the English team and Cádiz.

The Frenchman mixed well in that meeting with Rodrygo, who will probably accompany Vinicius and his captain again in the white attack on Wednesday.

Real Madrid, current defending champions, aspires to renew their crown and raise a 15th ‘Orejona’ to expand their dominance on the continent.

“Due to the history of this club, it is the king of the Champions League and we are a small part of the history of this club that has won it 14 times,” Ancelotti recalled on Monday. “We want to make this story bigger by trying to win this competition” again, he added.
