We were thinking how strong that person would have to be to protect those people.  All of that informed the idea of \u200b\u200bPeach&#8217;s character in our film.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"Enhancement\" data-align-center=\"\">\n<p><bsp-external-content class=\"ExternalContent\"><br \/>\n    <iframe title=\"Super Mario Bros. La Pel\u00edcula - Tr\u00e1iler Oficial (Universal Pictures) HD\" width=\"788\" height=\"443\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/DmCZoiCp5C0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><br \/>\n<\/bsp-external-content>\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2>They ask to cancel Princess Peach for being &#8220;very feminist&#8221;<\/h2>\n<p>Unfortunately, not everyone is happy that Princess Peach is a strong and independent woman in the film, and it is precisely a woman who has criticized it.<\/p>\n<p>This is the American commentator, Anna Perez, who has requested that Princess Peach be canceled for being &#8220;very feminist.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div class=\"Enhancement\" data-align-center=\"\">\n<div class=\"Enhancement-item\">\n<div class=\"Quote\" style=\"--color-quote-background: #fff;\">\n<div class=\"Quote-content\">\n<blockquote><p>\u201cYoung women see things like this and it just brainwashes them into being feminists.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>He also assured that Peach&#8217;s behavior can lead women to behave like men:<\/p>\n<div class=\"Enhancement\" data-align-center=\"\">\n<div class=\"Enhancement-item\">\n<div class=\"Quote\" style=\"--color-quote-background: #fff;\">\n<div class=\"Quote-content\">\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWe have women who go around thinking they are men and end up getting hurt, raped.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>In addition, he also stated that &#8220;<i>women are not as strong as men<\/i>\u201d and that the culture of \u201c<i>rude bitches<\/i>\u201d is ruining society because \u201cno one knows where they stand\u201d these days.
