He has spent two years studying the songs and gestures of the so-called &#8220;rock poet&#8221;, in order to achieve a convincing interpretation.<\/p>\n<p>But as same as <strong>Austin Butler <\/strong>in <strong>&#8220;Elvis&#8221;<\/strong> and <strong>joaquin phoenix<\/strong> in <strong>\u201cWalk the line\u201d<\/strong>, <strong>Chalamet will be the one who sings all the Dylan songs that are heard in &#8220;Going electric&#8221; and will not do <em>playback<\/em>.<\/strong> This was announced by the director <strong>James Mangold<\/strong>who was interviewed during the recent event <em>Star Wars Celebration<\/em>: &#8220;Of course.  It&#8217;s an incredible moment in American culture.  It will be the story of a very young Bob Dylan, 19 years old, who arrives in New York with two dollars in his pocket and becomes a worldwide sensation in three years.  It&#8217;s a very interesting true story and about a very interesting time on the American scene.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Mangold (who directed Phoenix in the role of <strong>Johnny Cash<\/strong> in <strong>\u201cWalk the line\u201d<\/strong>) also reported that the filming of <strong>\u201cgoing electric\u201d<\/strong> It will begin in August, but the actors who will play other important roles in the film still need to be selected.
