The Argentine’s contract at Paris Saint Germain (PSG) expires at the end of June and Inter Miami have been strongly linked to the World Cup winner. But the 35-year-old is earning salaries of around $1.1 million a week, which would violate the league’s financial restrictions. <\/p>\n

According to Spain’s Sport newspaper, Major Lague Soccer’s 29 clubs are in talks about a special structure that would see them contribute money if the former Barcelona player moves to the United States. <\/p>\n

The bosses of this league believe that if Messi joins, the income of all teams from advertising and merchandising will increase. <\/p>\n

Each of the clubs would finance part of the player’s \u00a3900,000 a week ($1.1 million) salary. If the agreement is finalized, the attacker can choose a team, either in Miami, New York, Los Angeles or Atlanta. <\/p>\n

However, Messi has not defined his future despite offers from Al-Hilal and another for his return to Barcelona.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
