This marker places the ninth Mexican in the group stage, leaving their chances of qualifying for the next round in the 2023 World Baseball Classic alive. <\/p>\n<p>Mexico went ahead after Alexis Wilson himself drove in Alan Trejo with a single in the second inning, but the English tied the score for the sixth inning thanks to BJ Murray&#8217;s RBI single.<\/p>\n<p>The starter for Mexico was Taijuan Walker who shone from the first four scoreless innings of just one hit with eight fans, but he went without a decision in the match.
