pinocchio<\/em> by Guillermo del Toro has been a film that had everyone’s attention since before its premiere due to the type of animation used to make it, but when we saw it, it exceeded all our expectations. That is why it is no surprise to anyone that this film continues to succeed, taking several awards.<\/p>\n

Recently, pinocchio<\/em> and its director showed their potential once again at the 50th Annie Awards 2023 ceremony after taking home no more and no less than five awards in that edition.<\/p>\n

On February 25, Guillermo del Toro managed to obtain the Annie Award for Best Animated Film, thus adding to those previously obtained in the same category at the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards and the Golden Globes. That is, once again pinocchio<\/em> managed to beat other movies like Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, Sea Monster, Turning Red<\/em> and Wendell and Wild<\/em>.<\/p>\n

For his part, Guillermo del Toro received his well-deserved award, showing himself happy and grateful to all those attending the event for having won. In addition, he took the opportunity to mention Gregory Mann, the voice actor for Pinocchio.<\/p>\n

Another statuette that this film received was in the category of Best Animated Character, received by Tucker Barrie. Finally, he also won the award for Best Music, which went to Alexandre Desplant and Roeban Katz.<\/p>\n
