Until now we had been seeing some images of its new protagonist and we had some somewhat ambiguous synopsis, but the first chapter of Part 9 has already been read in Ultra Jump magazine.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 1 --><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em><strong>Be careful, this article contains spoilers about the new &#8216;JoJo&#8217;s Bizarre Adventure&#8217;!<\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2>Two young men seeking their fortune&#8230;<\/h2>\n<p>We had already seen some images of our new &#8220;JoJo&#8221; and we can start by confirming his name:<strong> fuck joestar<\/strong>.  Leaving the tusks aside (because the Spanish name is going to have a tail, we already know), it remains to be seen if Araki is slapping us in the face with <strong>the not so hidden meaning of his name<\/strong>and that he may be related to the Brando family.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 2 --> <\/p>\n<p>As the plot progresses and we see, there are some things we do know about the new protagonist.  input, <strong>Jodio is 15 years old and lives in Hawaii with his mother: Barbara Ann Joestar<\/strong>who is the sister of Holy Joestar-Kira and the daughter of Joseph Joestar and Suzy Q. Since she was 11 years old, <strong>Jodio earns a living doing some errands for the local mafia and their drug trade.<\/strong>either transporting money, merchandise, or doing other types of work.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 3 --><\/p>\n<div class=\"article-asset-image article-asset-normal article-asset-center\">\n<div class=\"asset-content\">\n<div class=\"base-wrapper-image\" style=\"padding-top:160.15625%;\">\n                  <br \/>\n  <noscript><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Jojolands Img\" class=\"centro_sinmarco\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/i.blogs.es\/6f1f86\/jojolands_img\/450_1000.jpeg?w=788&#038;ssl=1\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\"\/><\/noscript><\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>How could it be otherwise, Jodio also has his own stand called <strong>november rain<\/strong>.  November Rain looks a bit different than the humanoid Stands we&#8217;ve seen so far and it&#8217;s unknown how far his abilities go.  Mostly, <strong>we&#8217;ve seen that he can drop projectiles the size of a baseball from the sky, although he may have more hidden powers.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 4 --><\/p>\n<p>Jodio is not the only protagonist, since the first chapter of &#8216;The JOJOLAnds&#8217; has also introduced us to <strong>his brother, Dragon Joestar<\/strong>. Despite the fact that everyone uses masculine pronouns, Dragona refers to himself in the feminine and acts and dresses in traditionally feminine clothes, so <strong>could be confirmed at some point as the first trans member of the Joestar family.<\/strong> Perhaps later it will be determined as a non-binary character, but in the meantime we will have to wait and see.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 6 --><\/p>\n<h2>A new job on the horizon<\/h2>\n<p>The main thing we know right now about the plot is that these descendants of Joseph Joestar <strong>they are looking to make a fortune and they will become &#8220;filthy rich&#8221;,<\/strong> although it is not in the most legal way in the world.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 7 --><\/p>\n<div class=\"article-asset article-asset-normal article-asset-center\">\n<div class=\"desvio-container\">\n<div class=\"desvio\">\n<div class=\"desvio-figure js-desvio-figure\">\n<p>     <img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"The 'JoJo's Bizarre Adventure' anime could have been very different: this was the lost 'Phantom Blood' movie that we never got to see\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/i.blogs.es\/b2d885\/phantom-blood\/375_142.jpeg?w=788&#038;ssl=1\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\"\/><\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>As well as introducing us to the two new Joestars, &#8216;The JOJOLands&#8217; has introduced two other key characters.  The first is <strong>Paco Lovelantes,<\/strong> a thief who also owns his own Stand.  the other is <strong>Meryl May Qi,<\/strong> the director of the institute where Jodio studies, the owner of the boutique where Dragona works&#8230; and also the leader of the local mafia.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 8 --><\/p>\n<p>According to information from his boss,<strong> the group must steal a precious diamond<\/strong> which has just arrived on the island in the possession of a Japanese tourist. <em>Now<\/em>Let&#8217;s see how they manage and if the mysterious tourist is a character we&#8217;ve already seen in the manga.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 9 --><\/p>\n<h2>The JOJO Lands<\/h2>\n<p>Despite the crazy things that happen in &#8216;JoJo&#8217;s Bizarre Adventure&#8217;, <strong>Araki has given us a small blow of realism<\/strong> because it seems that this reality was also affected by the <strong>covid <\/strong>and at one point Dragona comments on her concern.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 10 --><\/p>\n<div class=\"article-asset-image article-asset-normal article-asset-center\">\n<div class=\"asset-content\">\n<div class=\"base-wrapper-image\" style=\"padding-top:71.645367412141%;\">\n                  <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"sf-lazy centro_sinmarco\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/i.blogs.es\/b061d7\/jojolands_img3\/450_1000.jpeg?w=788&#038;ssl=1 450w, https:\/\/i.blogs.es\/b061d7\/jojolands_img3\/650_1200.jpeg 681w,https:\/\/i.blogs.es\/b061d7\/jojolands_img3\/1024_2000.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/i.blogs.es\/b061d7\/jojolands_img3\/1366_2000.jpeg 1366w,\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/i.blogs.es\/b061d7\/jojolands_img3\/450_1000.jpeg?w=788&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Jojo Lands Img3\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\"\/><br \/>\n  <noscript><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Jojo Lands Img3\" class=\"centro_sinmarco\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/i.blogs.es\/b061d7\/jojolands_img3\/450_1000.jpeg?w=788&#038;ssl=1\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\"\/><\/noscript><\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Despite this, no character wears a mask, and since the mask requirement was lifted in Hawaii on March 25, 2022, <strong>we can assume that &#8216;The JOJOLands&#8217; occurs after this date in 2022 or even directly in 2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 11 --><\/p>\n<p>Yeah &#8216;<strong>Steel Ball Run&#8217; and &#8216;JoJoLion<\/strong>&#8216; already mixed elements of the previous parts of &#8216;JoJo&#8217;s Bizarre Adventure&#8217; in their own way, it is quite possible that Araki is repeating the play with &#8216;The JOJOLands&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 12 --><\/p>\n<div class=\"article-asset article-asset-normal article-asset-center\">\n<div class=\"desvio-container\">\n<div class=\"desvio\">\n<div class=\"desvio-figure js-desvio-figure\">\n<p>     <img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"It does not reach two hours and it is on Netflix: this spin-off of 'JoJo's Bizarre Adventure' is perfect for lovers of creepypastas\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/i.blogs.es\/7d0429\/asi-hablo-kishibe-rohan\/375_142.jpg?w=788&#038;ssl=1\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\"\/><\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>In this case, <strong>Jodio Joestar might be somewhat inspired by<\/strong> <strong>Giorno Giovanna, <\/strong>especially seeing that we are already getting into mafia and crime themes, although there could also be references to &#8216;Stone Ocean&#8217; as it has a story set in the United States.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 13 --><\/p>\n<p>In any case, Araki has left us <strong>a massive first chapter<\/strong> to introduce us to this new stage of &#8216;JoJo&#8217;s Bizarre Adventure&#8217;.
