Its creator and Jennifer Coolidge thanked the <strong>Awards for Best Limited Series or Anthology and Best Supporting Actress<\/strong>respectively.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 1 --><\/p>\n<p><em>Coolidge&#8217;s statements contain spoilers for season 2 of &#8216;The White Lotus&#8217;<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>double prize<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Jennifer Coolidge<\/strong> took the stage to pick up the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress in a Limited Series, Anthology or Movie Made for Television.  Coolidge was excited and so conveyed it in <strong>his speech, funny and emotional in equal parts<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 2 --> <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I just want you to know that I had big dreams and expectations when I was young but what happened was, you know, life took them away.  I thought she was going to be the queen of Monaco, although in the end she was someone else.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"article-asset article-asset-normal article-asset-center\">\n<div class=\"desvio-container\">\n<div class=\"desvio\">\n<div class=\"desvio-figure js-desvio-figure\">\n<p>     <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>He also wanted to thank all those people who gave him the opportunity, such as Ryan Murphy, Reese Witherspoon or <strong>Mike White, the creator of &#8216;The White Lotus&#8217;<\/strong>whom he defined as <strong>&#8220;one of the best people you&#8217;ve ever met&#8221;<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 3 --><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>And I want to say, Mike White, you have given me hope for a new beginning, even though this is the end.  Because you killed me, but it doesn&#8217;t matter.  Even if this is the end, you changed my life in a million different ways (&#8230;) You give people the will to live, even if you killed me.
