The headliners and the more than 80 international artists who performed at the festival gave the best of themselves to the thousands of fans who attended to enjoy their most emblematic songs and in life and style we do a recap

The good

My Chemical Romance (MCR) was undoubtedly one of the most anticipated and applauded bands at the festival. The Americans performed on the first day of Corona Capital on November 18, and managed to ignite the fans’ spirits from the start of their show with their new song The Foundations of Decay.

The band returned to the stage after a separation of almost six years and of course, in the case of Mexico, he did it through the front door. MCR frontman Gerard Way wore a medieval-style outfit that he reminded all his fans who were present of the “emo era”.

Emotions ran high as they played their iconic songs like Helena, Welcome to the Black Parade, Cancer, The Ghost Of You, Teenagers, Nanana and Famous Last Words.

The atmosphere of nostalgia prevailed from minutes before 11:30 p.m., when MCR appeared on the main “Corona” stage; even, while performing some of the most famous songs of his entire career, there were attendees who shed tears of emotion.

Another of the most anticipated and valued groups of the festival was Arctic Monkeys On Saturday, November 19, despite a cloudy and rainy afternoon, the energies of the fans were recharged when Alex Turner, vocalist and leader of the band, appeared on the Corona stage.

Brainstorm and Snap Out Of It They were the first songs performed by the band from Sheffield, United Kingdom, before the Mexican fans, who performed at 10:30 p.m.

Some attendees looked a little less energetic after having spent a day at the festival and after the cold and rain that was present throughout the day. Nevertheless, Arctic Monkeys had an excellent closing of the second day.
