The big trigger was discovering that she has a major <strong>genetic predisposition to develop Alzheimer&#8217;s<\/strong> at some point in your life.  Of course, he has made it clear that he is not giving up his acting career, but he has dropped that, in case it is made -nothing has been announced yet-, his next film as Thor should probably be the last.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 1 --><\/p>\n<h2>&#8220;<em>I feel like it would probably be the end.&#8221;<\/em><\/h2>\n<p>The actor has stressed that &#8220;<em>I&#8217;m totally open to it if there&#8217;s something unique and fresh and unexpected to do with the character and his universe.  I have always loved the experience<\/em>&#8220;, but by reminding him that <strong>both Iron Man and Captain America had closure for their respective stories<\/strong>Hemsworth has commented the following:<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 2 --> <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I feel like we&#8217;d probably have to close the book if I did it again, you know what I mean?  I feel like it probably justifies it.  I feel like it would probably be the end of it, but that&#8217;s not based on anything I&#8217;ve been told or any kind of plans.  You have the birth of a hero, the journey of a hero, then the death of a hero, and I don&#8217;t know\u2026 am I at that stage?  Who knows?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>As Hemsworth himself acknowledges, his vision is one thing and what Marvel may have is another.  For now, <strong>I highly doubt that getting rid of the God of Thunder was part of his plans.<\/strong> at least until &#8216;Avengers: The Kang Dynasty&#8217; or &#8216;Avengers: Secret Wars&#8217;.
