Cho Chang is one of those characters who lives without paying rent in the back of the memory of everyone who saw the Harry Potter movies during their childhood and\/or adolescence. <strong>How to forget the first love, first kiss and the first girlfriend of the famous magician?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 1 --><\/p>\n<div class=\"article-asset article-asset-normal article-asset-center\">\n<div class=\"desvio-container\">\n<div class=\"desvio\">\n<div class=\"desvio-figure js-desvio-figure\">\n<p>     <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Cho Chang<\/h2>\n<p>Witch of the Ravenclaw house, seeker of the Quidditch team and girlfriend of Cedric Diggory, starred in one of the most dramatic moments of the saga when he became <strong>one of the first casualties of the Second Wizarding War,<\/strong> when he was killed on the orders of Lord Voldemort.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 2 --> <\/p>\n<p>Stricken by the loss, and against her parents&#8217; wishes, she later joined Dumbledore&#8217;s Army and began <strong>a romantic relationship with the director of said organization and protagonist of the entire story<\/strong>: Harry Potter himself. Finally Cho <strong>survived the Second Wizarding War and married a Muggle<\/strong>.  Although it is unknown if they had children.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 4 --><\/p>\n<h2>katie leung<\/h2>\n<p>More of <strong>3,000 girls auditioned<\/strong> for the role of Cho Chang.  JK Rowling wanted the part to be played by an unknown face, so Warner Brothers opened the audition to all Asian girls in the UK.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 5 --><\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s how, the Scottish of Hong Kong descent on the father&#8217;s side, Katie Leung, was selected to play her and, consequently, <strong>the character happened to be of Scottish origin<\/strong> (although this is never mentioned in the books).  Leung appeared in the film adaptations of <em>The Goblet of Fire<\/em>, <em>The Order of the Phoenix, Half-Blood Prince<\/em> Y <em>The Deathly Hallows.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 6 --><\/p>\n<p>Outside of the Potter franchise, Leung studied photography at the Edinburgh College of Art and also acting at the Royal Conservatory of Scotland.  Currently, <strong>is 35 years old and lives in Motherwell<\/strong>a town near Glasgow, with her boyfriend Eric Caira<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 7 --><\/p>\n<p>Though <strong>has not abandoned the interpretation<\/strong>, has not been part of any successful mainstream production again.
