In the absence of &#8217;25 words&#8217; (the new Cristian G\u00e1lvez contest) confirming its premiere date, the group already has another similar format in hand: <strong>&#8216;Chain Reaction&#8217;, presented by Ion Aramendi<\/strong>.<!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>new contest<\/h2>\n<p>After Mediaset scuttled &#8216;El \u00e1tico&#8217;, his previous project which was a variant of &#8216;El Hormiguero&#8217;, Ion Aramendi already has a new program underway: &#8216;Chain Reaction&#8217;, a daily contest that will have <strong>based on the classic chained word game<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>It is a <strong>adaptation of the original American format &#8216;Chain Reaction&#8217;<\/strong> on NBC, which consists of two teams that will compete against each other, racking up money while solving word chain puzzles.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 1 --><\/p>\n<div class=\"article-asset article-asset-normal article-asset-center\">\n<div class=\"desvio-container\">\n<div class=\"desvio\">\n<div class=\"desvio-figure js-desvio-figure\">\n<p>     <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Mediaset and Bulldog TV will produce the contest which, since its premiere in 1980, has been <strong>successfully versioned in countries like Italy, UK, Canada and Serbia<\/strong>.  It will be a different bet from the usual trend of Mediaset reality television programs, pulling more towards what was once &#8216;Pasapalabra&#8217; than The Island of Temptations or &#8216;Nightmare in Paradise&#8217; (which has been recently renewed).<\/p>\n<p>The loss of &#8216;Pasapalabra&#8217; was a blow to Mediaset, which has not been able to find a suitable replacement with any of its previous options.  For its part, its success was transferred to Antena 3, where yesterday it reached a <strong>new record of 2,944,000 viewers on average<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In the next few days, the project will start its promotion campaign and its casting process, to <strong>start selecting the contestants<\/strong> who will face the challenges posed by Ion Aramendi.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 2 --> <\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One of the most pressing issues for Mediaset is to find a substitute for what was its star program: &#8216;Pasapalabra&#8217;.
