It was unbelievable until he himself announced his departure from The Witcher, but even then it seemed more like a fan wish than anything else.  Now the actor has taken advantage of the promotional campaign for &#8216;Enola Holmes 2&#8217; to <strong>make things clear<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 1 --><\/p>\n<p>During his appearance on the Happy, Sad, Confused podcast, Cavill was asked directly about <strong>if there was something true<\/strong> in his alleged signing for the prequel to &#8216;Game of Thrones&#8217;, to which he responded as follows:<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 2 --> <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>To be fair, when I was watching &#8216;House of the Dragon&#8217;, I was like, &#8220;I feel like a lot of these guys could be really good Warlocks&#8230;&#8221; I think it would be great to be in Westeros, really.  Though I don&#8217;t think there&#8217;s a place for me there.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"article-asset article-asset-normal article-asset-center\">\n<div class=\"desvio-container\">\n<div class=\"desvio\">\n<div class=\"desvio-figure js-desvio-figure\">\n<p>     <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>a diplomatic response<\/strong>, making it clear that he likes the series but also that he is not going to participate in it without denying it.  Besides, those responsible for &#8216;House of the Dragon&#8217; have surely closed the cast of season 2 for a long time, and then Cavill was not even available for something like that.  And it should not be forgotten his recent return as <strong>Superman<\/strong>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 3 --><\/p>\n<p>That said, I wouldn&#8217;t have the slightest problem with him appearing in &#8216;House of the Dragon&#8217;.
