The late Mexican idol Vicente Fernández said well: “This jealousy hurts me, it drives me crazy”, because just like “Chente”, jealousy also damages relationships a lot. Although it is something that can be treated with good therapy, there are those who do not realize how aggravating the situation is and end up in an extreme that can even commit a crime.
This happened with a girl from the city of La Plata, in Argentina, who, presumably, to prevent her boyfriend from being unfaithful, chose to lock him up under lock and key in the house where they lived and now she is facing charges for deprivation of freedom.
According to the media, a 29-year-old man was rescued from a house in the aforementioned town because his sentimental partner kept him locked up and incommunicado in a room for almost three days.
Everything indicates that this man was “the friend who didn’t want to notice”, because the first warning signs occurred when the girl began to impose a return time on him every time he went out with his friends, threatening to go looking for him if he didn’t arrive. at the agreed time.
Unfortunately, everything escalated, because, according to the complainant, his girlfriend came to uninstall the WhatsApp application and, not satisfied with that, then broke his cell phone to leave him incommunicado.
Finally, after six months of dating and these types of episodes, the young woman decided to kidnap him, locking him in a room to prevent him from being unfaithful. After spending almost 72 hours at home without communication, the man was able to take his partner’s phone and sent a distress message to a friend of his, who called 911 to come to his rescue.
Due to the agents of the Patrol Command, the man was released, while the jealous woman was arrested and an investigation folder was opened for the crime of illegal deprivation of liberty.
For this reason, today more than ever, we want to recommend that if you suffer from these insecurities, unhealthy jealousy and some emotional dependence, go to a mental health specialist. Do it for and for you!
