The return of the Punisher to the Marvel Cinematic Universe would take place in a matter of time, since Marvel Studios would be starting work on a tape for the antihero
In Spider-Man: No Way Home, the return of Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock drew attention, which suggests that Daredevil and the other characters who starred in a Marvel series on the world’s largest platform, including the Punisher, who could back on the big screen.

According to the site Gian Freaking Robit, Marvel Studios would already be working on a solo Punisher film, which would have an R rating, the second in the MCU with said distinction in addition to Deadpool 3.
The site did not confirm if Jon Bernthal will be in charge of embodying the Punisher, but everything indicates that once again the actor would play Frank Castle, who began his journey in the series as an ally of Daredevil in its second season.
Punisher on the horizon of the MCU
Bernthal’s return is logical, considering that both Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio reprized their roles in the MCU, Cox in Spider-Man: No Way Home and D’Onofrio in Hawkeye.
“Frank is always there, always a part of me. And when we get the call, I’ll be ready and I’ll make sure I do everything I can to make sure we get it right, or I won’t do it at all.”, Bernthal mentioned on the Geek House Show podcast, in an interview from the year 2020.
On November 17, 2017, the first season of The Punisher arrived on digital platforms, starring Jon Bernthal, who repeated the character that appeared in episodes of the second season of Daredevil.
The second and final season of The Punisher arrived on January 18, 2019. Both seasons had 13 episodes each.
On June 29, the two seasons of Punisher will return to digital platforms in Latin America, hand in hand with Disney +.
