Next Monday, September 19, at 11:00 a.m. (UK time) and 6:00 a.m. ET, the state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II will begin. There will be a procession of the coffin to Westminster Abbey, after which it will be transferred to Wellington’s Arch.
The procession will end at Windsor Castle (specifically St George’s Chapel); by then the heads of state of many countries will already be present and accompanying the royal family.
The British network BBC will broadcast the funeral through its channels BBC One, BBC News and by streaming (in BBC iPlayer); the CNN channel in Spanish will have extensive coverage of the eventwhich will start at 5:00 am ET and which can also be seen on their website. One more option is transmission by PBSwhich will cover the funeral for eight hours (from 4:00 AM ET to 12:00 PM ET), both on its television channel and on its website (pbs.org) and in its app.
