It was already announced from the base that The first season of ‘Chainsaw Man’ was going to have only 12 episodesand continuing with the weekly broadcast, we only have one left ahead.
So we can already set on the calendar that the last episode of the anime can be seen on Crunchyroll on Tuesday December 27. The series has been the big hit of the season… so of course, now it’s time to wonder when we’ll be able to see more episodes.
The bad news is that for now there is no official confirmation that there will be a second season, but taking into account the success of Chainsaw Man and since manga sales have grown even more, the renewal is practically assured.
And what about season 2?
In fact, the manga Tatsuki Fujimoto It already consists of 12 volumes and the anime has covered approximately half of the first part, with which it is still there is enough material ahead to adapt in at least another season of 12 episodes and to be able to conclude the first part of the story.

The problem comes because MAPPA is now one of the hot anime studios and it has a very tight schedule.. MAPPA have invested heavily in ‘Chainsaw Man’, so it’s not likely that they want to let go of the license. But with the frenetic pace of studio production we will have to wait until 2024 at the earliest so we can see more episodes of the series. We may even have a slightly longer season, but first let’s hope that the final announcement of the renewal will arrive soon.
