We will begin this article by saying that under no circumstances does not eating at certain times help us lose weight if what we consume does not have a caloric deficit with respect to what we expend.
We can go to the gym a lot and do a lot of sport but without this deficit it is impossible for weight loss to occur (in Vitónica they give us some reasons why despite doing sports, we are not losing weight). To lose weight it is essential to be clear about this concept and know that without it, there is little we can do.
However, in addition to caloric deficit, according to a study conducted by Harvard Universityand published by the scientific journal Cell Metabolism, it is important to know when to stop eating. We don’t talk about intermittent fastingbut of the hour at which we eat and at which we stop eating.
What time to stop eating if we want to lose weight
To carry out the study, two profiles of overweight people undergoing a diet were established, only that one of them finished with the last meal six and a half hours before going to bed, and the other two and a half hours before. The seconds, their appetite increased and the number of calories burned decreasedthus concluding that having dinner before facilitates weight loss.

The ideal time for dinner following this study would be 5.30 (a very British time), but what we can do is advance dinner to the best of our ability, such as 7:30 or 8:00 instead of the classic Spanish 10 at night.
