Big 3
Term to refer to the three most important companies in the K-pop industry: SM Entertainment, YG Entertainment, and JYP Entertainment.

Commercial or advertising.
comeback
Moment in which a group or soloist returns to the stage after a period of absence.
Comeback Stage
First appearance, promotional, of a group or soloist on television.
Daesaeng
Maximum award that idols can receive as a product of their artistic work.
daebak
Word used to express surprise.
fandom
Simply, this word is used to refer to a community of fans of the same group or soloist.
fanchant
Shows of support that fans do to their idols, mainly in live performances.
idol
All the artists in the K-pop industry who receive admiration from their fans.
hoobae
Term to refer to a group or soloist with little musical experience.
lines
Word used to divide the members of a group according to the role they play musically.
maknae
Youngest member of a group.
Mutual
Fan of the same group with which you share something in common.
selca
Way of referring to selfies.
Stage Name
It is practically the same as a stage name.
sub-unit
Small formations that make up members of the same group.
sunbae
Term to refer to a group or soloist with a lot of musical experience.
trainee
The trainees are the future idols, only in their training phase by the agencies.
