Last night Kevin Feige presented his master line for Phases 5 and 6, however among all the titles that were presented there was one that there was no news about, and that was Armor Wars
Marvel concluded its presentations in Hall H of the San Diego Comic Con, leaving all of us who were following the event live in shock, with all the titles and news that are to come from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, specific dates were announced for projects that we already knew are in the development process or have already been announced for some time, such as Echo, Iron Heart, Captain America 4, The Marvels…., new ones were announced some of which had already been rumored as the series of Daredeviland the two films of The Avengershowever, many of us who saw the panels realized that there was a project that was absent among all the titles and that was Armor Warsthe series starring Don Cheaddle, in which Rhodes will face the theft of technology from Tony Stark.
It is curious that they have neglected to include love wars on the list since it is a project that was announced along with others that have already been released or are about to do so, such as Moon Knight, Falcon and the Winter Soldier either She-Hulk: Lawyer She-Hulk. Rarely does Marvel Studios cancel a project, the movie inhumans It was an exception, but it was justified by the internal war between Marvel Tv and Marvel Entertainment, and the release of that forgettable series on ABC, which forced Kevin Feige to readjust many things, such as not using the Inhumans in the MCU.
But why was nothing said about Armor Wars?
At the time Kevin Feige said that there would be Marvel content almost every month of the year, interspersing premieres on Disney +, and in theaters, either with series, movies or Making of, if you look at the list of news for Phase 6, they only advertised The Fantastic Fourand the two films of The Avengers, between November 2024 and November 2025. With several blanks to fill in, that would mean that Marvel Studios didn’t want to reveal all their cards at San Diego Comic Con and would have reserved some announcements for September’s D23.
Something that would make sense, since it is expected that Armor Wars begin production this fall, so that announcement could come with a casting call for the new series of Disney+and give it more prominence than it would have had at Comic Con.
It is expected that the series starring Don Cheadle, which we will also see in secret invasionbring back the villain of Iron Man 2, Justin Hammer, but so far no plot details have been revealed. What do you think?
