Marvel’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness gives us a couple of unique post-credits scenes, but how will they affect the rest of the MCU?
Before we get to the explanation of the post-credits scenes of Marvel’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, we warn you that this article contains spoilers.
Marvel’s long-awaited Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has arrived in theaters, and as in all Marvel Studios movies, it has post-credits scenes which we explain here.
How many post-credits scenes does Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness have?
There are two post-credits scenes in Doctor Strange 2. The first is seen after the main Marvel credits sequence. The second comes at the end of the full credits, although only the first of these has an impact on the Marvel Universe that we will see in the future.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness post-credits scenes explained
The first of these bonus scenes begins right after the end of the film and leads into what we may see in the sequel. As he walks down the street, after his third eye has been opened in the final scene, a woman dressed in purple (revealed in the acting credits to be Clea and played by Charlize Theron) walks up and tells the Stephen, “You caused a raid… and we are going to fix it.”
Clea then opens a hole in reality, asking, “Unless you’re scared?” Strange, flashing his third eye, replies, “Not in the slightest.”
As explained in the same movie, in the Illuminati Universe, raids cause events where two universes collide. That’s why his version of Doctor Strange turned out to be so dangerous that he had to be removed. Searching for a universe where he and Christine could be together, he ended up colliding two universes, erasing their realities and killing their billions of inhabitants.
In the Marvel Comics Universe, Clea is the wife and ally of Stephen Strange. She comes from another dimension, she has great control over magic, and following Stephen’s recent death in the comics, she is the current Sorceress Supreme.
She will undoubtedly be Stephen’s main ally in Doctor Strange 3.
The second scene is just the finishing touch to Bruce Campbell’s presence in the film. This is Sam Raimi’s fetish actor who this time plays a pizza vendor who is forced to beat himself up by a spell from Stephen. In this scene we see that the spell is finally broken.
