There is less left to see ‘Super Mario Bros. The Movie’ in theaters, the new adaptation of Nintendo’s video game of the same name. Coinciding with Mario Day, Universal has launched his new trailer and it has also opened the pre-sale to reserve tickets before its premiere on April 5.
‘Here we go!’
‘Super Mario Bros. The Movie’ is coming up. This new animated version (after the strange live action of the 90s) arrives by Nintendo and Illumination, the same study as ‘¡Canta!’ or ‘Gru, my favorite villain’.
In the new trailer, we see several sequences that seem to be taken directly from the video game (yes, there is also one with Mario on the kart). Mario and the rest of his allies will unite to face Bowser, who is holding Luigi prisoner and threatening to destroy the Mushroom Kingdom.
Directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic (‘Teen Titans Go! The Movie’) and scripted by Matthew Fogel (‘Minions: The Origin of Gru’), it has in its original voice cast with chris pratt like Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy like princess peach Charlie Day like Luigi, Jack Black like Bowser and Seth Rogen like donkey kong
‘Super Mario Bros. The Movie’ will be released in theaters on April 5 but Universal has already ticket presale open through its website. Of course, the first two trailers of the film are quite promising, despite the bad luck that video games usually have when it comes to adapting them to the cinema.
