A few days ago, good old Zack Snyder turned the internet upside down again after he shared a post on his social networks. In it, the voice of Darkseid, the villain of ‘Zack Snyder’s Justice League’, could be heard announcing that at the end of April something would happenand urging fans to mark the 28th, 29th and 30th on the calendar.
Of course, speculation, delusional theories, and outbursts from Snyder’s detractors and supporters began to flow at full speed while the rest of us mortals remained oblivious to the nonsense. Well, a few days later we can confirm what the supervillain of the Distinguished Competition was talking about.
Closing the circle
The SnyderCon “Full Circle” event will allow you to enjoy three consecutive days of ‘Man of Steel’, ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ and ‘Zack Snyder’s Justice League’ in IMAX with subsequent signing sessions and Q&A with the director. This was explained by the filmmaker himself in a live show with The Nerd Queens.
“It’s kind of a mix of different things. I’ve always wanted to show my three DC movies in the theater together, and it’s always been one of those things that we weren’t sure if it would ever happen. Like we screened a couple of times the IMAX version of Justice League [en blanco y negro], he wasn’t sure he would have another time to bring the color version to the movies. He wanted everyone to see the movie in IMAX because his format was meant for IMAX. It is designed for an IMAX experience. When you see it in IMAX, I think it’s completely different than when you see it on TV.”
It is understandable that from this side of the pond he knows little, although if I am honest, I expected something like a conclusion to his project in the form of a comic or something similar. Even so, I cannot deny that, as a faithful servant of the holy house of our Mr. Snyder’s slowmo, I am deeply envious of those who can enjoy the triptych on the big screen as it was conceived.
