Two years have passed since we saw one of the best series Spanish from the last five years (what a harvest we had in 2020, I also tell you) and until now the details were scarce around ‘Vestidas de azul’, the series that will continue the excellent ‘Veneno’ by the Javis.
From Atresmedia they have announced that the filming of this new series, the “second volume” of the Veneno biopic, has started in these past weekss. As we already knew, this will delve into the world of transsexuality in the past and present, based, once again, on the homonymous book by Valeria Vegas.
Two years after the death of La Veneno
The plot will start two years after Cristina’s death, with Valeria (Lola Rodríguez) returning to Valencia and finding a VHS tape with the documentary ‘Vestida de azul’, which narrates the experiences of six transsexuals in the 80s. This will take the protagonist on a journey between past and present.

In the cast repeat both Rodríguez and Paca La Piranha, Goya Toledo, Juani Ruiz, Alex Saint, angeles ortega Y Desiree Vogue. Next to them, will be the “dressed in blue” Rossa Ceballos (adult Loren), Bimba Farelo (Loren young), chloe santiago (Tamara), Geena Roman (Eve), Alma Gormedino (Josette), Penelope Guerrero (Nacha) and Keyla Odena (Renee).
Of course, this series will have an important change and that is that Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi will limit themselves to production work. In this way, the script falls into the hands of Valeria Vegas, Javier Holgado and Susana López Rubio, with the direction of Mikel Rueda, Claudia Costafreda and Ian de la Rosa.
