On December 1, 2020, the sudden death of the Mexican music singer Jerry Demara42, rocked the world of Latin music.
The Mexican died at the Pioneers Memorial Hospital in California after suffering a bacterium infection, which caused him severe pain in the bodyspecifically in a buttock and in the legs, all this after the application of three vitamin injections, to presumably strengthen his health.
Damara was born in Mexicali, and is remembered after participating in the program “La Voz México”, in addition to her successes in the genre, where she managed to collaborate with great artists and being nominated for a Latin Grammy in 2018.
The artist before passing away made, through a live broadcast, a complaint of negligence of the medical personnel who treated him at the hospital in the city of El Centro, California.
The singer’s son Gerardo Damara Juniordenounced the death of his father due to the infection of a bacterium, which entered his body intravenously, while he was given vitamin B12 as a measure against the symptoms of covid-19.
“There is no antibiotic that kills this bacterium, it’s literally going in and cutting the skin. He had two surgeries, the second one was much more complicated, he had more incisions, the problem is that they had to keep him sedated and asleep, because his wounds were open, because the doctors were constantly checking the wounds to prevent the bacteria from spreading further.” , explained the young man during an interview on the “Gossip No Like” program.
Also, the artist’s son assured that time is crucial in these cases and that is why he regrets the “three hours in El CentroThey never bothered to do a study. They just sent him to where the people with COVID symptoms were.”
