Let’s start with the steel case which, as its name suggests, is 39 mm, generous and with perfect reading of the hours and minutes. It stands out for its unidirectional rotating bezel finished in grade 2 titanium with a satin-finished ceramic disc that offers a luminescent coating, perfect for a good reference of the time underwater.
The dial is satin black in color accompanied by hour markers created in a luminous monobloc ceramic composite, which reinforce easy reading.
It is important to mention that like all the pieces in the Pelagos collection, the hands are of the “Snowflake” type, introduced in 1969 and coated with X-1 Swiss grade Super-LumiNova.
The caliber, for its part, is the MT5400 certified by the Swiss Official Chronometer Control (COSC), with a silicon hairspring and a 70-hour power reserve that reaches a precision variation of -2/+4 seconds.
To emphasize the versatility of the piece, its creators have fitted it with a titanium bracelet with a Tudor T-Fit clasp (adjusts up to 8mm) and a second black rubber strap, with a titanium buckle clasp. Perfect to wear with a tuxedo or diving suit.
