Fortunately, the famous man managed to overcome this bitter drink and after having overcome said disease for the second time, He reappeared before the cameras on the “Hoy” program, revealing several details that made the public tremble.
And it is that during his talk with Galilea Montijo, Arath de la Torre, Andrea Legarreta and Andrea Escalona, the actor spoke like never before about the double lung transplant that gave him a second chance to live.
Mauri moved the cast of the show to tears after revealing that the person who donated both lungs to him. “I bring two lungs that a 28-year-old boy donated to me, I don’t know his family, but I respect him every day and thank him,” he said in a broken voice.
Also, During the talk, the famous also spoke about his state of health after having contracted Covid-19 for the second time. In this regard, he indicated that his experience was completely different from the previous one and although at first there was fear, today he is better than ever.
Toño Mauri did not say goodbye to the morning show without first reflecting on his “miraculous” recovery, assuring that he is grateful to have received a second chance.
“Everything that has happened after the illness has been beautiful, pure blessings, pure wonderful things that perhaps if I had left I would not have been able to live (…) CEvery day I live, every day I spend is a gift”, he insisted.
