After being asked how it felt to jump from the big screen to the Disney+ series, Hiddleston referred to it as an honor, before describing his commitment to keeping the things people love about the character while also doing something new.
It was actually an honor to be asked. We all wanted to maintain the integrity of the character. I wanted to make sure we didn’t lose the things that people love while doing something new.
It was then that the actor shared his hope that the revelation of Loki’s bisexuality is something significant for the people who saw it, although he believes that there is still a long way to go.
I also hope Loki’s reveal as bisexual is meaningful to the people who saw it. It was a small step, and there is a long way to go. But it was definitely important to all of us.
