We know that street style is governed by trends that go out of fashion in a few weeks, however, there are some that go further and show the nonsense of the world of fashion. In recent weeks Loewe and Prada have invaded the streets of the fashion weeks and the RRSS to show us its most basic piece -but not for that reason the cheapest-. A classic t-shirt tank top of all life in white is adorned with the central logo of the brand in question. But you don’t need a big budget to look like the fashionable girls. Low-cost firms launch very similar designs for less than 10 euros. Perfect for a luxurious aesthetic look, these designs want to adapt to all the outfits of this mid-season.
The street style has spoken and makes it clear that the fashionable tank top is dressed with a luxury label
It is a plague and personalities of the stature of Dua Lipa or Victoria Federica de Marichalar have made everyone talk about these shirts with basic airs and simple lines without really knowing what the key to their real success is. It seemed that the era of logomania was over, but this trend shows us the opposite.
It is evident that Loewe is the one who takes the prize for vitality. Available in two different versions (the classic and the cropped top option), its proposals in all classics such as white and other more daring ones such as orange already hang the “sold out” sign. Of course, the nonsense comes with its price: 270 euros for a lifelong cotton shirt.
Jil Sander takes advantage of the pull of the norm core and launches a tight body type version in white and/or black. Its price? 345 euros.
And although Loewe has won the prize for the most viral piece of street style in recent weeks -hence its very tops hanging the sold ut sign in the online store-, Prada goes further and presents the same concept with the famous charm metallic in the shape of a triangle in the center of the neckline. Its price? Even more unattainable, 690 euros. A whim that surpasses all ethics and morality.
Alternatives low cost that create the same effect
It is not necessary to allocate part of the salary to follow the irrelevant fashion of the influencers: with a very small budget we can look just as stylish.
Zara, Bershka or H&M are joining this trend – a lifelong basic that is renewed every year with new details or textures – and they do it for less than 10 euros.
- H&M ribbed sleeveless t-shirt, 9.99 euros.
Sleeveless cropped t-shirt in ribbed knit. Fitted model with high neckline and round neck.
