The Colombian drug dealer Harold Mauricio Poveda Ortegabetter known as ‘El Conejo’ and who was called to testify during the trial of Genaro García Luna, starred in an extremely peculiar and moving moment after he burst into tears in full hearing, but he did not do so because he had some feeling of guilt for his actions, but in reality it was because of the images that he was shown of the majestic house he owned in Mexico City and which was the place where he was detained at dawn on October 22, 2008.
The property, known as The Fantasy Mansion and located in the Desierto de los Leones, it was not just any house, but it had great luxuries and eccentricities.
‘El Conejo’, considered one of the main cocaine suppliers of the Beltrán Leyva Cartel, revealed that this house was very special to him, since he built it to his liking and whim.
“The Fantasy Mansion had luxurious stone finishes and on some walls there were carved wooden statues representing different types of animals. The house had a suspension bridge, a private sauna in the shape of a cave, and even a replica of a medieval knight,” reports the Infobae portal.
As if these luxuries were not enough, the drug lord also had his own zoo at home, with the presence of lions, panthers, tigers, hippos and various endangered animals being striking.
