Fox 5 New York cameras had the opportunity to get to know the most remote corners of the old New York mansion that belonged to the famous designer Gianni Versace and that today is for sale for the stratospheric amount of $60,000,000 dollars.
In a video, lasting almost 8 minutes, the reporter Rosanna Scott showed, through a tour, the rooms of the luxurious residence that has been on the market for some time, but so far no one has been interested in acquiring it. Thanks to this material we were able to notice that elegance and class are present in every corner.
Its current price is well below what its current owners originally expected to receive, having advertised it for $70,000,000 nearly a year ago, but no bids came.
The house, which was purchased by Versace in 1995 for $7,500,000 dollars and which belonged to his family until 2005, it looks like it did in its best days, so it would not be surprising if it changes hands very soon.
The mansion, which is neoclassical in style and built in 1901, extends over six floors, has an extension of 14,200 square feet and it still retains Versace’s baroque finishes on four of its floors.
It has seven bedrooms, seven full bathrooms, three half bathrooms, a hall, a kitchen, a dining room, a living room, a main room, a family room, a television room, an office, a library, a living room billiards, games room, elevator, balconies, laundry room, patio, terrace, among other rooms.
On the fifth and sixth floors, a Moroccan-style movie theater and a games room with a pool table were installed.
In addition to attracting attention for its facilities and its history, the house also does so for its location, as it is very close to Fifth Avenue.
