“All day we were trying to get it right and they finally got a take they really liked,” he recalls.

“It was a lot of fun to do, however difficult because my hair is so heavy. I’ve had ‘dreadlocks’ since I was 5 years old and they look like wool when wet, so they get heavier. They almost double their weight when wet.” .

“A stuntman would hold my hair underwater and then toss it to me as I came up, so it didn’t feel like a weight on my shoulders. So we did it multiple times to get it right. He looks great and perfect in the animated movie, so we tried to recreate him in real life, ”the actress finished.
