If the accounts do not add up to the events that occur in episodes 2 and 3 of House of the Dragon, here we explain how time passes and its consequences
The history of Game of Thrones spanned eight years in the history of Westeros and the fierce battle between the different houses to seize the Iron Throne. In House of the Dragon time passes faster, and to show the first three episodes.

The second episode picks up six months after the end of the first, after Princess Rhaenyra’s appointment to the Iron Throne, and the events of Chapter 3 begin with a jump three years later.
The first season of the Game of Thrones spin-off will cover 30 years of the history of the Targaryen house, a period in which enmities, intrigues and murders were woven, which will reach their climax in The Dance of the Dragons
marriages and births
In episode 2 one of the determining events for the Targaryen house occurs, not only with the appointment of Rhaenyra at the hands of King Viserys, who marries Alicent Hightower, which makes her queen consort of Westeros.
But this marriage did not sit well with Rhaenyra, who felt this union as a betrayal against her, to the extent that the Queen and the Queen Consort could not be in the same room.
To complicate the picture, Alicent is pregnant in episode 3, and she gave Viserys her long-awaited son, Aegon, who could succeed to the throne. Hightower bears two more children to the Monarch of the Targaryen house.
However, despite Aegon’s accession to the throne, Vyserys confirms Rhaenyra as the monarch on the Iron Throne.
Wartime!
Not only marriages and births occur in these early episodes. There are also strategic alliances such as those between Daemon and Corlys Velaryon to conquer more territories, but this union has been worse than they imagined.
In addition to the fact that the duo has lost territories and battles against the Triarchy, Vaemond Velaryon, brother of Corlys caused a mutiny in the troops, before Daemon won the battle in the Crab Feeder camp.
These facts, added to the fact that Daemon discovers the betrayal of Corlys’s brother, only provokes enough anger so that in three years the war reached levels where blood did not stop spilling.
Based on the book “Fire and Blood” by George RR Martin, the series, set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, tells the story of the Targaryen house.
The main cast is made up of Paddy Considine, Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best, Sonoya Mizuno, Fabien Frankel and Rhys Ifans.
The first episodes of House of the Dragon are available on the digital platform HBO Max.
