Today we bring you a wonderful curiosity. In case you did not know, in Europe there are only two pyramids and one is in Spain. There is also a controversy about a construction of these characteristics in Bosnia.
Pyramid Spain: the one of the Italians
It is a concrete pyramid located on the road that connects Burgos with Cantabria, in the port of the Shield. It is owned by the Italian State and was inaugurated on August 26, 1939, before the Spanish caudillo ordered his own mausoleum to be erected in the mountains of Madrid.
The pyramid of the Shield housed a total of 384 corpses until in 1975 the Italian Government decided to exhume the bodies. The construction was directed by the Italian architect Pietro Giovanni Bergaminio.
Pyramid of Austerlitz in Holland
The so-called Pyramid of Austerlitz is not in Austerlitz (Czech Republic) but in the Netherlands, near the town of Woudenberg, province of Utrecht. It is considered a National Monument and is one of the main tourist attractions. It was built by the French army in 1804, led by General Marmont, and is a model of the pyramid of Cheops in Egypt.
Only a few years after its construction, the name was changed to commemorate Napoleon’s victory at the Battle of Austerlitz in 1806. It is built on a 36 meter high earthen hill and the most curious thing is that it took a record time: only 27 days.
bosnian
And there is a third and mysterious pyramid in Bosnia, on a hill, with which there has always been much controversy, whether or not it is considered a pyramid as such. It is located in the town of Visoko, very close to Sarajevo, on a wooded hill that has been said to be higher than Cheops.
The tennis player Novak Djokovic assures that it is a structure with mysterious vibrations capable of healing and giving energy, and yet local archaeologists point out that it is not a mystical pyramid at all.
