Find out how the first season of The Sandman adapts one of the comic book stories to the television series, something that looks identical
The first season of The Sandman series has not only conquered those who already knew the history of the comic by Neil Gaiman, it has also brought a new generation closer to the mythology led by Morpheus as the King of Dreams.

The filmmakers of the series invested a lot of time and effort to keep a great fidelity to the source material, the comics published between 1988 and 1996, something that can be seen in the frame.
The official Sandman account shared a video where a comparison is made between one of the scenes of episode six of the series with the vignettes of the eighth volume of the comics.
This scene corresponds to the episode El son de sus alas, where Muerte, Sueño’s older sister, debuts within the plot.
After retrieving his tools stolen by Roedrick Burgess, Morpheus looks giddy, so Death arrives to comfort him, and ask him to accompany her on a normal day for her, who escorts the souls of the deceased to the afterlife.
The Sandman follows in the footsteps of Morpheus, the God of sleep, and his impact on the world, as he tries to right the cosmic and human mistakes he made during his existence.
The result is a rich blend of modern myth and dark fantasy in which contemporary fiction, historical drama and legend seamlessly intertwine.
The first season of The Sandman is now available on the world’s most important digital platform.
