This is behind us and we will continue working as the great team we have been up to now.
“With Max and the team everything was discussed yesterday and will be maintained internally, this is behind us and we will continue working as the great team we have been up to now,” he added.

The Mexican driver, who reached seventh position in the Brazilian GP, was annoyed yesterday with his Dutch teammate at the end of the race and questioned his attitude of not giving way to him, as it was an order from Red Bull that the world champion did not comply with. .
“I am very surprised after everything I have done for him (…) If (Max Verstappen) has two championships it is thanks to meI don’t understand his reasons,” Pérez told the media.
Verstappen, for his part, gave his position on the matter and pointed out that he had his reasons “because of things that have happened”, but that he will definitely help Checo win in Abu Dhabi.
Checo Pérez is now fighting for the drivers’ runner-up with Ferrari Charles Leclerc; both have 290 points and it will be decided who will take second place in the Abu Dhabi GP, the last race of the 2022 season.
